The Ringstraße is Vienna's grand boulevard, built where the old city walls once stood. From a hop-on hop-off top deck, you get textbook views of palaces, museums, theaters, and parks in one smooth arc.

Must-spot buildings from the bus

• State Opera – the unofficial "start" of many loops.
• Kunsthistorisches & Naturhistorisches Museum – twin palaces facing each other.
